| Explanation | These modules offer solutions to either distance or difficult installations where you might need to bounce a signal around something that blocks your signal. Up to 8 repeaters can be used to cover a distance with the sensors being attached to the "chain" at any point. Each standard repeater covers up to 300 meters. The long range repeaters cover up to an additional 900 metres over open ground and depending on the aerial configuration Suitable Omni and Yagi aerials must be purchased for use with the long range repeaters. |

| Contents | Solar powered units are supplied with an LR123 Lithium back up battery. AC powered versions are supplied 230V UK mains adapters (a 230V EU adapter can be substituted for EU orders). Long range aerials are supplied with 1.5 meter cables with plugs fitted. |
| Installation | The units are simple to mount and will fix to a wall, fence or post. Consideration should be given to the wireless signal propagation. For long range repeaters with single hops we recommend having the repeater closer to the base station using a Yagi to receive and an Omni to retransmit. In Europe the maximum permissible gain on the transmit would be using a 5db Yagi. This can be increased on the receive but the aerial will become more directionally sensitive as the gain increases. |
