An affordable and versatile solution for growers, researchers, and consultants; the 2700 offers all of the features of the WatchDog 2900ET Station except for evapotranspiration and solar radiation. Measures, calculates and logs wind speed/direction, wind chill, dew point, temperature, relative humidity and rainfall. In addition, six external sensor channels are available for additional sensors.

WatchDog 2000 Series Weather Stations deliver accurate weather information directly from your fields. Together with SpecWare 9 Pro software, you can monitor, record and analyse over a dozen important growing conditions for more effective and profitable crop and pest management.
Built-in data logger - Your measurements are stored in fail-safe, non-volatile memory until you transfer the data to your PC. Select measurement intervals from 1 to 60 minutes. With a 30 minute interval, the station will retain 183 days of data. Downloading data will not erase it from the station, so multiple PCs can access the station without impacting a master data collection plan.
Enhanced LCD Display - Current conditions, historical data, and computed parameters are easily viewed on the station’s LCD screen. A WatchDog exclusive: check current and daily high/low readings for the past 30 days or confirm the station and sensors are performing — without connecting to a PC.
Customise your station - Choose from a wide range of plug-in sensors to monitor the environmental variables that matter to you.

Wireless or cellular communication – choose from three options (select from 'Wireless Connection Options above):
- 1. Short Range (up to 4,000ft) Modem Pair: Use short-range modems to maintain signal on wired connections up to 4,000 ft (1.2 km) + SpecWare Pro software
- 2. DataScout Cellular Modem + SpecConnect Web Portal Pro Subscription for Cellular Modems
- 3. DataScout WiFi Modem + SpecConnect Web Portal Pro Subscription for WiFi Modems
Direct cable connection – choose from two options:
- 1. Download from the station in the field directly to your laptop, with the data transmission cable included with the SpecWare Pro & Basic software packages
- 2. 23m (75ft) Direct PC Connect Cable (select from 'Other Accessories' above)+ SpecWare Pro software
3. Data Shuttle: Transport data from your station to your PC (select from 'Other Accessories' above).
