| Explanation | WatchDog 2000 Series Mini Stations deliver accurate information directly from your fields. Together with Spec 9 Pro software, you can monitor, record and analyse important growing conditions for more effective and profitable crop and pest management.
Built-in data logger - Your measurements are stored in fail-safe, non-volatile memory until you transfer the data to your PC. Select measurement intervals from 1 to 60 minutes. With a 30 minute interval, the station will retain 183 days of data. Downloading data will not erase it from the station, so multiple PCs can access the station without impacting a master data collection plan.
Enhanced LCD Display - Current conditions, historical data, and computed parameters are easily viewed on the station’s LCD screen. A WatchDog exclusive. Check current and daily high/low readings for the past 30 days or confirm the station and sensors are performing — without connecting to a PC.
Customise your station - Choose from a wide range of plug-in sensors to monitor the environmental variables that matter to you.
Three options to access your data 1. Wireless or Cellular Communication: Access real time data from your PC, tablet or smart phone (contact us for pricing) 2. Direct Connect: Download from the station directly to your laptop, with the data transmission cable included with SpecWare Pro & Basic software package 3. Data Shuttle: Transport data from your station to your PC (select Data Shuttle from 'Other Accessories' above).

The internal electronics calculate Growing Degree Days (GDD) for up to three degree day counters. For example, one counter can be activated at planting while another can track the development of insects. The station calculates Chill Hours, which is the total amount of hours during which temperatures have been below a specified low temperature. The station LCD can also be programmed to display a variety of plant disease infection potentials. The arrow keys allow you to scroll through the sensor readings, Degree Day/Chill Hour calculations as well as set your temperature ranges. |
