Overview
This accessory provides a protective housing for the HOBO MX801 logger when using the 2-sensor adapter (W-ADAPT-2). Providing additional stability and protection, this creates a rugged assembly for mounting on buoy lines or cement blocks. The housing features additional vents to mitigate accumulation of debris and bio-fouling.

This rugged PVC housing creates a solid logger/sensor-assembly for easy and reliable mounting on stakes, buoy lines, or cement blocks. The housing also allows for easy removal of the adaptor's sensor guard to service the sensors (recalibrating, cleaning off fouling).
It is recommended for MX801 applications that involve the logger being subjected to movement or passing debris, or where a solid assembly is required for mounting.
This housing is not needed in applications where the logger is suspended in protected environments, such as in a stilling well.
