On Wednesday 14th November 2012 EnviroMonitors exhibited at the sixth British Leafy Salads Association Conference at KingsGate Conference Centre, Peterborough. This is a bi-annual conference for the leafy industry. ADAS UK Ltd, Warwick Crop Centre, IGD who carry out economic insights, and Rijk Zwaan were amongst the speakers covering a range of topics such as leafy salads in the global market, impacts of economic and social change on the food business, and managing nitrate in leafy’s.

EnviroMonitors exhibited their handheld agronomy tools and MeteoVue GPRS solution for gaining remote weather data. As with Soil & Water Live on 13th November 2012, most conversations discussed individual requirements for using MeteoVue as a cost-effective solution for gaining data from remote weather sensors. Other products highlighted during the day was the IQ150 for quick pH monitoring and FieldScout EC meter which can be used for soil media and liquids.
