  5. Our Most Talked about Products at Cereals - June 2012

We offer two compaction meters used to determine the density of soil. The basic dial version reads to depths of 24 inches via an easy to read, colour-coated dial that is liquid filled to reduce shock. The digital version uses an exclusive ultrasonic depth sensor to capture readings in 1 inch increments and resistance is measured by an internal load cell. Used with a GPS unit mapped images can be analysed.

The SoilStik is a self-contained digital pH meter that allows testing of levels in water, soil, and other liquids. Soil and water pH is the single most important aspect in determining nutrient availability to crops. Click here for a video on the set-up and use of the SoilStik. The IQ150 pH meter is a “direct” soil pH measurement tool with its pointed tip ISFET stainless steel probe which stores dry.
